HOLY COW!!!!!!!!!!! Just got back from a tip-up trip for BIG pike. A group of 6 of us landed over 15 pike with the smallest coming in at 32" and the big dawg coming in at 41". We used tip-ups with 500 foot spools that was wound with Mason line (Concrete String)... For bait we used everything from Live Suckers, Huge Shiners, and frozen smelt.
